Today, home security systems are becoming a part of most homes, but they are generally not thought of as something that is used by people who are on a budget, such as apartment-dwellers. Korner hopes to change this problem with a simple security system that costs less then $100 USD, and requires no other payments.
Korner consists of two parts, a motion detecting tag that adheres to the upper corner of a door or window frames, and a plug fob that connects to your router. When the system is armed, and movement is detected, the fob responds by emitting a high pitch sound, as well as notifying the user via a smart device.
This security system can support up to 15 tags per fob, and each tag should be able to run for three years on its included battery. The app will let users know when the battery is getting low and needs to be replaced.

Shot Stats: Record your hits and improve them!
The Shot Stats Challenger is a simple device, that records the head speed of the ball impact, impact points on the racket, the type and amount of spin on the ball and the number of shots between re-stringings. It is a simple device that just clips onto the racket, with a small, high-contrast touchscreen for viewing stats, as well as Bluetooth, which enables connecting to smart devices for in-depth stats. It can also tell you if you are playing better or worse! And helps you improve your goals in tennis by showing you what you need to do.
As the Challenger is still a prototype, it does not have a listed weight. Shot Stats is aiming to keep it within the weight of two to three standard vibration dampeners. It is currently using an aluminium housing and shockproof screen design to hold up to use on the court, and it is also able to take a hit.Source: Shot Stats

Make your watch smart!
An analogue smart watch may sound like a contradiction in terms, but a Tel-Aviv based company has come up with a way of making it possible. Instead of having to buy a brand new smart watch, Modillian is a "smart strap" that makes a mechanical analogue wristwatch into a smart watch, by pairing with Android smartphones via Bluetooth.Smart watches have many features that make them attractive to everyone, such as being able to tell if you have a call or message without having to dig your phone out of an awkward pocket, or at an inconvenient time, yet it also comes with negatives. Some people prefer to keep their mechanical analogue watches, which they may have invested hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in. Some may have had a watch that has lasted a very long time and they still love it and have no desire to give it up at all.
The Modillion smart strap replaces the strap, not the watch. The Modillion has electronics and a bluetooth module in-built into the strap's clasp, which vibrates when there are incoming calls, texts, messages, and reminders.
The Modillion will be launching on the 10th of June 2014, in which many more details will be released.

Aqualibrium, the symbiotic aquarium!
Environmentally friendly ecosystems are becoming more and more attractive, as we become more environmentally aware of our planet.
Aqualibrium is one of the newest symbiotic ecosystems, where fish live in the bottom of the tank, where nutrients are pumped to the top, feeding the plants, and giving them life. The plant will filter the nutrients out of the water, taking only what it needs, as well as collecting the unfriendly fish substances that may be in the tank. The water is then pumped back down, in an endless cycle.
The plants to be used are up to the owner, whether it be pure ornamental plants, or edible plants, such as vegetable or herbs. The Aqualibrium uses identical stackable sections to hold the fish and the plants, which means you can have layers of them.
As of this moment, prototypes are opaque, but plans for the production verson are to be constructed entirely of UV-protected, scratch-resistant, clear plastic. Theres space for 49L of water in the bottom, and 2 sq feet of growing space in the top. Waterproof 9-watt LED grow lights are included, but useres must supply their own plants and fish.
The Aqualibrium Garden is currently priced at $629, and can be shipped anywhere.

Google unveils new mart watch, Android Wear.
Google unveiled their new smart watch, the Android Wear today, which brings Google Now on your wrist!
Like Google Now for smartphones, it will give you information like traffic, sports scores and any upcoming events you may have. You will also be able to trigger voice commands without even touching your Android Wear, just say "OK Google" and the Android Wear will instantly start listening for your command. This gives you the ability to send or reply to a text, searching Google for the best restaurant in the area, or creating events to your calendar!
The Android Wear's default screen is a scaled-down version of the Google Now in smartphones and tablets. When you turn it on, you are greeted with the time and weather, but a quick swipe can show you things like the detailed forecast, events or messages.
Google is also opening up Android Wear to third-party developers, who will be able to use the Android Wear functionality to smartphone apps, allowing the user to use both the Android Wear and the smartphone to do various tasks, and send information from one device to the other.
